Kids’ Questions: I Crashed The Family Car!
3Dear Rene,
I’m 16 and just got my drivers license! I took driving classes at school and my parents let me practice in the family car on the weekends. So when it came time to take the driving test I was more than ready. I passed the test on my first try!
I’ve only had my license for a month but last week I borrowed the family car for a couple of hours to go shopping. While leaving the mall parking lot I was waiting to merge into ongoing traffic, when a car hit the front of my car.

Ask The Good Enough Guy: Cats Versus Dogs!
12Dear Good Enough Guy,
My boyfriend Rick wants us to get a dog but I am more of a cat person and would love to get one now that we have moved in together.
However Rick is totally opposed to the idea and says guys don’t do cats. He says they’re unfriendly and mean – whereas dogs are loyal and great companions.
I suggested getting one of each but Rick thinks it’s a recipe for disaster.
What do you suggest Will!

One of the things I am totally digging about this new and latest incarnation of my life is all the cool people whose paths I have the good fortune to pass. Fun and interesting has always been my motto, and every one of the new friends I’m making has a story to tell. So with that, I would like to tell the story of Tracy Bickhaus, who has a rather entertaining story of her own.
Tracy is mother to Blake, a boy with an incredible imagination. Blake fancies himself something of a super-hero, More >
Women And Weight: Are You Sick Of The Double Standard?
11As a woman is there a single day that goes by that you don’t think about your weight?
Do you think about it more than once a day? How many times? I’d like to say I never think about it, but that wouldn’t be true. It starts early in the morning when I shimmy into my jeans. Then there are constant reminders, like today when I saw a neighbor. “Wow! You’re really shaping up!” he exclaimed (I’ve recently lost some weight). I heard something similar from an acquaintance I saw recently; even More >
Ask Rene: Allowance Argument
8Hey Rene:
We give our son Steve an allowance, usually for chores he does around the house. He’s 14 years old and gets $15 each week.
Steve is a good kid and gets good grades at school, but I don’t agree with how he spends his money.
He’ll buy fast food, video games and if he saves enough, very expensive gadgets. He doesn’t seem to understand the value of money or that he should save some money for the future.
When I tell him needs to use his money in a better way his response is “it’s More >
The Birther Movement: Was Obama Trumped?
51Oh man I really hate politics. I guess a more accurate description would be that I hate politicians. Why? Because in all my travels, I have yet to find one that hasn’t shaken hands with the devil to get where they are. But while the ones already in office say some off-the-wall stuff, it’s the antics of those trying to get there that are truly reprehensible. Enter Donald Trump.
