Taking It To The Streets: Would You Enter Your Child Into a Beauty Pageant?

Last time around we talked Cosmetic Surgery and we received some VERY revealing answers.
Now we’re turning our attention to a topic we’ve talked about many times before here on Good Enough Mother. We’ve all seen TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras and gasped at some of the extremes moms will go to to make their daughters (and sometimes sons) picture perfect.

The key word in your question is “let”. I would “let” and “support” after I checked out the organization and the details of the contest and found them acceptable. I would never initiate, or coerce . Having said that, a toddler can’t make a decision like that. They would have to be old enough to come to me and ask.
