Are you happy at the moment?

Yes! Very Happy!

If you could go back and say anything to your 16-year-old self now – what would it be?

Listen to your mother! She always knows best!

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned this year?

I’ve learned that it’s ok to say no to things when I feel I have too much on my plate; I can’t be 600 places at once and that’s okay!

What do you most want to achieve in the next 12 months?

My national roll out plan of DivaLysscious products… stay tuned…

What’s your secret to happiness?

Definitely finding at least 10 minutes to myself EVERY day—no exceptions! Whether it be going to a spin class, taking a bath or even reading a chapter of a book.  “Me-time” as I like to call it is absolutely crucial to my happiness as a mom, wife, Manhattanite and business owner.

What one ritual or practice keeps you grounded?

Acupuncture with holistic healer Juhi Singh keeps me grounded like no other; she is attentive, gentle and effective, and I always leave sessions with her feeling like I have a fresh mind and body.

What’s your biggest regret?

I try not to have regrets; I think of my mistakes as lessons that are of use to both myself and my boys. I can’t have regrets; it’s not healthy to think “what if,” especially when it’s your duty to be a good mom and role model.

What’s the most important lesson you’ve taught your kid(s)?

Without a doubt, that hard work pays off. Both my husband, Brian, and I understand the value of hard work and have instilled this in our two boys from a young age: my 5-year-old, Oliver, with his acting auditions and my 9-year-old, Jackson, with baseball. Keep trying and never give up and you will become the best; it’s as simple as that!

What bad habit would you most like to change about yourself?

I would like to become more motivated to work out on a regular basis and get into a solid, set-in-stone workout routine that includes spinning, running, etc. I always feel amazing after my workouts—I just have to rid myself of the “I’ll do it later” habit.

Aside from motherhood and marriage what are you most proud of in your life?

How my business has improved the lives of so many women, including my friends and family. I have seen so many women embrace their inner diva and become happier, more confident people by connecting with other Divalysscious moms and it honestly warms my heart more than anything.

When were you happiest?

Twice equally: when my first son was born and when my second son was born. They are the two most special people that have ever come into my life.
